Director of Music, Christ the King LC, Delafield

Christ the King Lutheran Church (ELCA) of Delafield, Wisconsin, is seeking a part-time Director of Music to enhance the worship services and create an environment of spiritual worship through music. The congregation is experience new growth and has a large number of musically talented volunteers, along with a rich musical heritage. The position includes the following: leadership in the worship and music programs, working jointly with the senior pastor and other staff on worship planning and scheduling, director of the adult choir, and recruiter/coach of ensembles. Ideal candidate will collaborate with the congregation and staff and demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm about growing the music program at Christ the King. A degree in music, experience, and skills in vocal and ensemble conducting are highly desirable. Start date of May 1, 2010, or sooner. Resumes should be sent to w.krenz@wi.rr.com.
