You are here:  News & Events » Congregation Leaders Event - March 13

The 2010 Congregational Leaders Event sponsored by our Greater Milwaukee Synod will be held on Saturday March 13th at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Milwaukee.  We will be returning to our regular format this year including multiple opportunities for workshops.  Bishop Jeff Barrow will deliver the key note address.  We will also have time with Loretta Horton former ELCA director for Poverty Ministries Networking, author and project manager for Lazarus at the Gate: Writings and Reflections on Poverty and Wealth.

The congregational leaders event is an annual gathering for lay leaders to develop skills to bring back to their congregations.  It is a great opportunity to meet other church leaders in our synod in worship and fellowship and to learn something new!  We hope you can join us.  Please extend the invitation to those who have the gifts to make a difference in the life and ministry of your congregation.

Childcare will be available by request.  Contact Mary Meyer at the synod office (mary@milwaukeesynod.org, (414) 671-1212) if you will need childcare.
