The Greater Milwaukee Synod will elect a new bishop for a six-year term when voting members gather for a special assembly, Dec. 4-5 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 3022 W. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee, Wis.  The assembly will begin with worship, followed by the first ballot on Friday, Dec. 4.  Registration will open at 5 p.m., with worship beginning at 7 p.m.  Presiding Bishop  of the ELCA, the Rev. Mark Hanson will preach.
