On the weekend of October 18 and 19, plese lift up and celebrate ministries of health care and wellness in your congregation. If that weekend is not ideal for your congregation, all materials can be used at any service you'd designate for the purpose of lifting up these ministries.
Among the materials available at this site are the following:
- a brochure entitled "Health Care Revolution" which is shown in both color and black&white versions, in a .pdf format. Download and reproduce either format for use in your congregation.
- Worship Service Helps, which provide a Call to Worship and Prayer of the Day that can be used whenever you'd mark these ministries in worship. There are also scripture introductions for the 23rd weekend in Petecost or the Feast of St. Luke if you focus on these ministries on October 18 and 19.
- An updated listing of the 21 parish nursing locations in our Synod, as well as the locations of the 3 free clinics.
